Purpose-Built Light for the Equine Hoof Tri-Wave™ Red & Near-Infrared Light for Targeted Application
The equine hoof and lower limb contain a complex combination of superficial and deeper tissues. Effective light application begins with thoughtful wavelength selection and positioning.
The ReGen Equine PRO Series Hoof Boots are designed specifically for the equine lower limb and hoof region, delivering our proprietary Tri-Wave Light System™ with three wavelengths: 660nm, 850nm and 940nm.
Unlike basic two-wavelength systems, the PRO Series adds 940nm to the 660nm and 850nm combination, providing a broader range of red and near-infrared wavelengths in a purpose-built boot designed to sit closely around the lower limb and foot.
Targeted Anatomical Applications
Navicular & Caudal Foot Support Designed for light application around the caudal hoof, pastern and surrounding tissues associated with the navicular region.
Laminitis Support Provides targeted light application around the coronary band and surrounding lower-limb tissues as part of a supportive wellness and conditioning routine.
Hoof, Coronary Band & Lower-Limb Application The wraparound boot positions the light source close to the hoof and surrounding tissues for consistent application.
Training & Recovery Support Suitable for horses undergoing regular training, exercise or periods of increased workload, providing targeted light application around the lower limb and foot.
The Tri-Wave™ Advantage
Different wavelengths of red and near-infrared light interact with tissue differently. The PRO Series combines three wavelengths to provide a broader light spectrum across the application area.
660nm Visible Red Light Provides red light for more superficial tissues and the coronary band region.
850nm Near-Infrared Light Provides near-infrared light for applications involving deeper soft tissue and connective tissue surrounding the lower limb.
940nm Near-Infrared Light Adds a third near-infrared wavelength to extend the range of light used across deeper and denser anatomical regions surrounding the lower limb and foot.
The PRO Series is not designed to force light through the hoof wall. Instead, the boot is positioned around accessible areas of the lower limb and foot, including the coronary band and surrounding tissues.
